I’m a designer maker working in porcelain to create ceramics that are entirely hand-made from my garden studio. Each piece is a canvas for decoration and collage as I carefully combine drawings with found vintage ephemera to create one-off, unique pieces to adorn your home, bring you joy and make you smile. My pieces also provide a functional element too as they look beautiful as a vessel to hold your cuttings from the garden, a tea light holder to house your favourite candle, or simply a gorgeous tag strung on a hand-made gift.

The porcelain pieces I create are one-offs, produced using a variety of traditional, slip casting and hand-building techniques. All incorporate my own drawings with found nostalgic imagery by using both hand painting and transfers, and many have the added opulence of gold lustre.

As a curious individual I am inspired by nostalgia, paper ephemera, vintage textiles and a love of drawing. I have always been fascinated by objects that have a history and some might say I’m a bit of a collector. Especially my family as I have shelves full to the brim of treasures and vintage tea cups!

Nostalgic themes that I constantly revisit in my work are afternoon tea, the seaside, gardening, and my love of traditional blue and white pottery. But I’m always curious as inspiration can sometimes strike even in the most unlikely of places.
