Summer at The Artisan Founder
AN EDITOR’S LETTER
Light lingers in the evenings now. The garden stays warm long after the sun has dipped behind the hills, and here under the walnut tree, the quiet hum of summer feels full of possibility.
This season, I’ve been especially enjoying putting together our weekly edit of featured finds. The quality and detail in the pieces continues to distract me from what I’m doing to explore more. From hand-thrown ceramics to intricate jewellery, every product has a story and it’s an honour to share them.
The Artisan Founder was created to support brands like these. Not through flashy campaigns or fast trends, but through gentle visibility and honest storytelling. We don’t take commission. We link directly to each maker’s own website. That choice has always felt right.
This summer, you’ll notice a few new things blooming across the site. Our Book Club now has a home on the homepage, with monthly reading recommendations to help anchor you into the creative season.
Our new Workshops page is nearly ready, offering a space for founders to share their upcoming events. Nominations for our artisan awards have already started to arrive, and I can feel the beginnings of something really special there. We’re also quietly working on our first print edition, set to land this autumn oh and check out our little Goodpods badges awarded for being a popular indie podcast.
It’s been deeply encouraging to read the words of founders, hear from customers who’ve found something meaningful through us, and feel the early support as we grow this next chapter.
Thank you for being here.
